Stang Family Orthodontics » Temporary Anchorage Devices
Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) are implanted mini-devices that are removed following desired tooth movement. These mini-implants are placed in non-visible locations and are proven to reduce orthodontic treatment time, eliminate the need for headgear, close most open bites without surgery and at times eliminate or decrease the need for rubber bands. Dr. Stang will determine if you would benefit from these temporary anchorage devices instead of headgear or elastic wear.
