Slipping easily over your teeth, clear aligners start to work immediately, from the first day Dr. Stang and her team give them to you and show you how to care for them.
Braces have come a long way, kids. Gone are the days of huge metal braces that protrude uncomfortably outward. Today's conventional braces work just well if not better, but they're much flatter, smaller, and more comfortable than the braces of yesterday - plus they come in a variety of colors. Patients including teenagers and adults still opt for traditional braces, because at the end of that journey they enjoy straighter teeth and a more attractive smile!
Unlike conventional (traditional) braces, lingual braces attach to the back (tongue) side of your teeth. Lingual braces work the same as traditional braces, but they're less obvious to others. They're a treatment option for those who prefer their metal braces be more discreet, though they may not be the best orthodontic treatment plan for everyone.

Dr. Christine F. Stang is a lifelong native of Virginia and grew up in the Shenandoah Valley.
Dr. Stang’s philosophies include practicing state-of-the-art orthodontic services, committing to give personalized care to each of her patients, and striving to exceed their expectations on a daily basis.
Her favorite aspects of practicing orthodontics are the wonderful relationships she forms with her patients and the positive changes that come with successful care and treatment.
She is fun, energetic, and understands that creating a beautiful, confident smile can truly change a person’s life. Dr. Stang will be following in Dr. Dibbs’ charitable footsteps as she will take over as the new Orthodontist for Reston Smile Partners.
